Today is so screwed, dead sure that i set the alarm at 7.21am. But found myself waking up at 10.58am.

What's the big deal with waking up 3hours+ late? It's just lecture, BUT NO! I've a Individual Journal deadline at 10am. Luckily Nic handed my copy for me, damn, had to find Regina and hand the Ad to her. F. She didn't believe that Nic handed in for me, I'm like so gon' be penalized for it. F!

Rushing to sch for that, took a cab down, met my classmates for post-lecture gathering, DAMN, realised there's MR interim group report at 5pm. And no one from my group brought a copy to sch, well, had to re edit some part because of it.

SCREWED.

After that was done, it was TPSU's AGM 09, See the Stars <-- Constellation in another word la dey.

Ended at 9+, reached home around 11+. Now i've a headache. Goodnight Diary ;)

Today was pretty hectic.

Class 2m04 went to Nicholas's crib in between Hougang, Amk, Yck for steamboating. HIS HOUSE IS DAMN ULU, WALKED 10MINS IN. Lucky he brought me and Thom whom reached earlier to complete some project stuffs, EH! heng got call Mr Gary, if not we'll be off the track for our CCP proj.

Phew. Steamboat got started @ 7, what i did was. Eat and eat, more eating with eating, nothing to do but eat, couldn't stop but eat, wanted to but continued eating. EAT EAT EAT.

Ok, full at 8+. After that, watched the movie "Don't Mess With The Zohan". Watched before already, but the funny thing was the subtitles. It's all screwed! "Cut my hair - Cut my head?" <-- what the fuck? Maybe the pirated company should hire me as a subtitle specialist. :)) Is that what u call? Oh Well, 10+pm a few of them left. 16 stayed over @ nic's crib. They drank alcohols with games, while me spent quality time with huijie.

Ahhh, he's my super quiet class-rep! Just got to understand him better, OPEN up k!

Mahjong started around 2+. Guess what, "DONG and NAN fongs" took 3hours. By the time we had our first toilet break, i was feeling intense pressure down there. @.@

Ahh, never really REALLY enjoyed pee-ing in some time. :D SHIOK AH.

It was Shozen outing to east coast park. Well, what else can we do other than biking? We were supposed to meet at 830 at the mcdonald. I turned up at 1130. HAHA!!

Jiasheng(Js) was the last one to reach though, setting the record at 3hours and 20mins late. First destination is the bridge at the Indoor Stadium. Shot some photos there, photos will be uploaded soon!!

Js was too dark to be seen, and to make things worse, he was wearing a black t! "EH? WHERE'S JIASHENG?" We kept shouting throughout the entire night, till one point he couldn't stand it, he took out his phone and started waving his lited phone in the air. Haha! How creative !

Second place was the rochor beancurd at parklane area, however, we were met with some "bless in disguise" unfortunate accident. Daniel's bike rearwheel met with some problem, it was loose.

So me, eugene, vincent and daniel bike to find a petrol kiosk, we were told the nearest one is 500m > away. Fortunately, we came by this group of bangala workers with his chinese singaporean boss at the roadside, working at this wee hour. So we borrowed a spanner, here's some pictures of vincent and a friendly indian uncle dropping by trying to help.

Sad to say, we were stuck there for 1hour? It wasn't long before the rest caught up with the beancurds. Oh my, the beancurds were all smashed. HA! Eugene decided that it was the best if all of us cycle towards his house at Upper Paya Lebar to change the spoilt bike with his personal one, so that we could cycle somewhere else throughout the night.

By this time, it was already 4-5am. Eugene and Daniel set off first with the spoilt bike being cycled by Eug.

After chewing on the beancurd, the rest set off towards Eug house, we agreed to meet Eug and Daniel at Serangoon Mrt station. There, we played the "hand-game". Bascially it's by simple tapping, (1) go, (2) reserve, (fist hitting 1 time) jump.

As we played, it started to drizzle a little, strong winds, lightning, thunder. I began to think if i had made the wrong decision to join them for the night. Just in time, Eug and Daniel reached. We came to an immediate conclusion that we should head over to Eugene house for shelter.

Well, we did! From 5-7am we spend the night there, talking nonsense, crapping stuffs, shooting jokes, doing retarded games.. Ahh. U never get bored of these. :):)

After the rain stopped around 7am, we cycled back to ECP, long and tough ride back. After successfully returning the bikes, we headed over to marine parade market to have our breakfast, before taking our various route home ..

1st May 2009 marks the date of the Labour Day, public holiday for all.

But this year's Labour Day is something different, on this very day, we went to Domain 21 at River Valley to celebrate Phelan's 18th bday.

Well, Phelan didn't know we were coming along, his mom was brilliant enough to invite us and told us to give him a surprise.

Surprise did we.. We hid in the handicapped toilet to have our Surprise plan settle, while doing so, Rahim pulled an emergency bell, which we supposed it's being led to the security guard house. ALL FREAKED OUT and started running out of the toilet.

His mom tricked him into going to the toilet, and then we came out of the handicapped toilet singing "Happy Birthday" song to him. Straight after that, we lifted him off the ground, and on the count of three, OFF HE GOES INTO THE SWIMMING POOOOOL.

Cabbed down to school's student lounge around 12+, it was raining though, somehow dampen my mood for fow and foc.

Had a task on hand, given by brandon(prog head) which was to phone every single one to ask if they're leaving on any day during the entire event.
Sounded simple? NO IT WASN'T!!

The following day was day1 of fow, after gathering some feedbacks on CPF, decided to change the gameplan.. SORRY WENDY K! We sat at SDC level 3, outside meeting rooms and thought of our game. It took us 3 to 4 hours for a new game. GUESS WHAT ..

2nd April, Day 1 (Tampines Central Games) (Me,Wendy K @ Cpf Building)

Woke up early, learnt the new ''introduction dance'' we've had for the freshies! Thus proceed to the stands at the hall, "Never gon' give u up, never gon' left u down, never gon' turn around and hurt u ....." HAHA! That dance is so damn cute, thanks ron! :D

Didn't have enough rest, thus, was damn moodless, SORRY FRESHIES! Well, met with obstacles while hosting the game. Firstly, tried to negotiate with the security to ask if we could use the flag area outside CPF building, but to no avail..
Decided to move to the field behind CPF, have to admit, i had a nevy feeling while hosting the game, SORRY la, first time hosting game for FRESHIES ma.

Damn, i would have rated myself at 1/10, given myself 1 just to make the scoring look nicer.

That night's feedback for me was damn difficult to swallow or accept.

Feedback for Cpf building's game, "Game Sucks, Meaningless, Kai is monotone, Game is too simple, too boring".

Well, as a programmer, or as a person, i've had to take it in, so did i. But so did it brought my morale down ..

3rd April, day 2 (Opposite School Games) (Duke,Me,Zihui @ Haji Kadir)

Woke up around 7am+ to get everything ready, soooon, went to sports complex to teach the handsign song, school song and mass dance to Hol-zen (Holqa's sub empire)

p.s five empires' name were Holqa, Zetten, Rinku, Reliez, Nexo (they meant "link" in different languages)

Were supposed to get all programmers to be in the sports complex by 915, but left the meeting room at 915am, brandon called, i told the programmers to move on.

But most of them were strolling there, as a result, we were being ticked off by brandon, and i was to be put to blame. Well, partially my fault i admit. :/

Day 2 was slightly better, in terms of energy level. Location for my day 2 station game is at Haji Kadir, we had to make last minute changes to our games too!

We met with some unforseen circumstances, game timing was changed at the very last minute.
What was unexpected was, we had to handle 3 sub-empires at our station, we tried our best, but it wasn't to be..

Feedback @ night was "Disoragnised, Draggy, No communication between programmers, Kai has to smile more"

Oh well, we had our reasons for that, but what to do? Will the Gls or Freshies understand it?

However, forced myself to sleep knowing that the next day will be wet carnival games in school.

4th april, Day 3 (Carnival Games) (Me, Jon, Ben @ SDC level 1)

WOKE up at 645am to wash up, briefing was at 7am ..

Ah.. was kinda looking forward to day 3 la honestly, HA!

Gave my all for it, as from the past, SDC is a hot spot for all empires! Everything went smoothly, as according to plan. SDC hosted a total of 12 sub-empires out of 15 ! TOLD YA IT'S HOT.

Hmm, soon was Hunt-gry. We, as namely, me melvin ben yiwen, took holqa for Hunt-gry. NONO, it isn't hungry, it's Hunt-gry.

Treasure hunt, but this time, it's doing different tasks in order to earn points! As compared to other empires in terms of scoring, Holqa fared badly, BUT! THEY WON FOW 1ST!

AHH. Actually, i grew attached to them. HA. But i made sure i was fair to other empires in terms of scoring! I DIDN'T GO BIASED OK.

Soon was break camp, positions were released, 1st: Holqa 2nd: Zetten 3rd: Reliez 4th: Nexo 5th Rinku.

Debrief for Fow didn't went well, was being ticked off again by the three prog heads, as we weren't on time once again .. late for debrief and packing up. Sigh ..

Wanted to head over to Cpf building at night for the tradition dinner though, BUT, had to wash my underwears and shorts for foc. :/ OPPS, INFO OVERLOADED. SORRY READERS. :D

5th April, Day 0

Cabbed down again! AND AGAIN IT WAS DRIZZLING. ZZ. But this time it was in the evening!

HAHA.

Met with the shirt printer @ school's busstop to collect the shirts for FOC. Well, the shirts look nice as to say. :DD

Next was, dinner followed by briefing for FOC. AHH!

This time, Wendy K left camp for overseas trip alr, so Luffy is back to Cpf ! WOOHOO, so after discussing, we came to a conclusion that we should use back our previous game!

And, we had inspiration from Eric, to do props and get ourselves dressed up as farmers for our station game!

Before heading to bed, all programmers and the three programme heads(brandon, yuewen, annhin) had an inspirational talk together.
A few certainly caught my ears, Ronald,"If you guys haven't know, we Subcomms GLs and FAs
are the ones whom touch and make a difference in the freshies' TP lives" This was the motivation i was looking for, i said it to myself everyday during the 3days of foc, everytime when i felt like just giving up.

After that, went to have a little chat with brandon, he changed my views on FO completely..

6th April, Day 1 (Tampines Central Games) (Me,Lutfi @ Cpf Building)

This time, we woke up around 9am or something, as the check-in timing for the freshies were during noon time. For FOC, it's quite relax to be honest. :D

We revised our intro, but this time was something different from the one we did for FOW.

After introducing ourselves to the Freshies, there's the flag bidding session. Hate to admit, but flag bidding is just so boring, for me though. HAHA. What does a programmer do during flag bidding? Brief the freshies on what's there to bid, how to bid, hold on to a bidding chart and nothing more ..

HMMM, i'm attached to HOLQA! HAHA, i recalled telling brandon to get me attached to HOLQA for OTCW. Didn't expect to be attached to Holqa for OTCW, FOW, FOC.

WELL, after flag bidding, had to rush back to meeting room for checking of logistic items and setting off to CPF building.

THIS TIME ROUND, games are at night. 7-9pm. It was pitch dark at field behind CPF, BUT! WE HAD LIGHTSTICKS. :DDDDDDDD

It certainly enhanced the feel of our game! The most important thing was the debrief, thanks brandon for ur words! I felt like some inspirational speaker please! This was roughly what i told them, "What i hoped you guys learnt is, the destination doesn't matter, what matters most is the journey. Comes the end of foc, you guys can get 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th. It doesn't matter, what matters most is the fun you guys had together, the times you guys had together.."

Wa, :/ i felt so .. inspired man ..

HAA. Hmm, at night, the feedback for our game and for me was, "Good game, Even though it's only squares, but it requires alot of teamwork communication. WELL DONE, Kai improved alot since OW, Game is much better as compared to OW. Keep up the good work!"

WA. EVEN THOUGH i was half asleep while listening to the comments, it did make me feel good.

7th April, Day 2 (Opposite School Games) (Duke, Me, Zihui @ Haji Kadir)

Usual stuffs! Headed to sports complex in the morning to teach the Freshies the handsign song, school song, mass dance. Then it started to rain, so it was changed to Wet Weather Plan.

Hosted my game at Lobby L @ Design school. WE'd props, me and zihui were farmers, duke was the rock star(his identity for day1 game)

We thought of the storyline at the very very last minute, so was our game.. COOL RIGHT. :D

Feedback was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD OK !

HAHA, once feedback and everything is going well, u just continue to do well and u just don't wanna hear those negative feedbacks no more ..

It was funny at the start, but when he was sleepwalking for a period of time, it got scary.. scary till we fell asleep.. the next thing i open my eyes was, Ben was lying down sleeping again ... PHEW ..

8th april, day 3 (Carnival Games) (Me, Jon @ SDC level 1)

Woke up around the same timing as fow though, ahh, had to check log items.

Allowed the other programmers to do first as my game is just at level 1 of SDC. Wondering why am i so good? Subcomms(programmers,loggers,foodmin) are sleeping in SDC level 3 meeting rooms.

Well, recieved some news which me and jon weren't expecting. Our supposing 12middle sized pails were cut till 8, but there wasn't so bad. What's real bad was, 4 pails went missing, so we were left with 4 only .. ? ==''

But fortunately, Hannah is damn zai please, she managed to dig the 4pails out from don't know where and gave us for our game.

THANKS HANNAH. HAaaaa.

GUESS WHAT? SDC level 1 HOSTED 15 subempires out of 15 k! Which means the entire foc came to our station ! :DDD

Today is a long long day, started off with a 1hr+ journey to admiralty to get some stuffs done before camp.

NO IT WASN'T CORNROW, it's squared-row. FYI: 83 PLAITS. ;O

Ok that aside, reached the destination around 11+am, had to sit down for few hours? By the time it was done, i'm already dead sleepy. Restless..

That wasn't the end! After my stuff was done around 2pm+, took bus 912 down to Woodlands to meet up with Latif. Ate some chicken rice which was so-so, waited for Wati, Sabrina and Alex to come.

While doing so, took the time to buy a cap from 77th street, ok it's $80+, which is 45 cheeseburgers? As said by Sabrina when she almost dropped my cap..

Hmmm. After everything was done, wanted to walk to La's house, but dear oh dear, was it raining cats and dogs and chickens and cows and ducks and birds and ants and ... No choice, had to take a bus .. Long journey .. So was the waiting time..

Next stop, La's house.

WA!! I swear man, his house is spacious and nice. Especially the walk-in balcony area, it's tight man, gotta admit i'm into that. Supposingly was to play monopoly, but he couldnt find it! So we played some harry potter game, hey guys, i warned you before the commencement of the game k! I'M GOOD.

Needless to say, i won the game. HA. GIFTED .. His cousin joined us for the game though, coached us along the way.. coached .. why am i using that word? lol ?

OH WELL, so we just slacked in La's room, eat chips, swallow softdrinks, played guitar, took photos, facebooked, songs, chat, learning how to use macbook? o.o

Well, took our leave around 9pm, headed down for the coffee shop near his house for dinner, talked nonsense during dinner time and so was the long journey home .. Woodlands - Kallang .. GOOD!

for the past few hours, i've been asking myself this question "mianglin, what if"?? what if things didn't turn out this way? will it be better? will it be worse? what if i could turn back the hands of time and correct all my mistakes, where would i be now? who will i be?

mom's bday next sun, brother's next next tues, super advance happy bday though. can't imagine whom i'll be w/o them.. recalled my brother getting me a batman toy for my 8th bday? ha, that's so sweet of him, he taught me lots of things, he's like my role model.. he's just .. i'm at a loss of word, if only any word in this world could be used to describe how much he meant to me.

my mom, she's an angel presented to me by high above. for those whom never knew how much she did, here's one example .. she had diabetics, and ran the risk of getting blind to give birth to this kid right here. she went through operation to get me out. i can't imagine if she encountered any mishap while bringing me to earth, i'll probably be living this burden for my entire life.

my dad, he has my utmost respect, if respect can be counted in bits, he'll have all of them. he's charismatic, he cooks great food, he's hospitable, he's cool-headed, he gives me his support in things i've been pursuing. he allows me to venture into the outside world myself. he's everything i could ask for.
he didn't scold me for piercing my ear, he reminded me to inform them before hand, he told me if i were to tattoo, one will be enough, nt the whole body, he challenged me to keep my hair for 3 years, and one day, when he mistook my words for "going to malaysia", he told me to be careful, to enjoy myself. he didn't scold me for getting poor results during secondary school, he told me a pass is enough, where in the world, where can i get someone so supportive of me, always behind me yet letting me take control of ma life?
he taught me the principles of life, have my own and always abide it. he's caring towards us, just that it's in a quieter way, ain't showing it out.

i miss my block20 playmates, thinking back, recalling the days, 4pm sharp, i would unlock my door, looking down from my 7th storey flat, telling myself.. "OK, it's soccer time!"
soccer, basketball, badminton, "baseball", blind mice, catcing, ice and water, "BOM".. hiding all around the block, behind the mama shop, in the RC corner, lying flat trying to blend in with the grass. everyone's grown up now .. everyone has their own different set of path to follow, different routes to take. to me, u guys have been wonderful, u guys are the reason for my wonderful childhood, as namely, SHENGLIAN, MA LIAN, DEXTER, XIAODI, CLEMENT, CHINCHER, BABU, JIAWEI, ALEX, ROYSTON.. i thank u all.. we will catch up one day and reminisce won't we? :D

to begin with, 1d-2d, how excited was i when i was being posted to GanEngSeng School. man did i mixed around well with them .. recalled the days listening to arun's BS, same goes to weirong, and his highpants, our literature lesson, history ones, maths - our bulldog teacher. the first class i made my own video with. our dnt lesson, art and craft. MUSIC! the first real guilty thing i did, stepping on arun's shoe, the lower part, the cushion thingy.. causing it to tear, and pretending that i didn't do it on purpose. HE went to dnt room to GLUE the part back OK. :( sorry arun..
the unity in the countdown of school hours. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 DING DONG DING DONG .. THAT SOCCER MATCH AGAINST 2B, THE GOALKICK WEIRONG TOOK .. NEVER GON FORGET BOUT IT.

3E-4E, i thought i would be screwed when i realised i've been posted to the last express class during my batch, the one and only combined sciences and express class .. oh god help me .. but never did i realise, things weren't that bad, but fruitful in the end. i pass my O levels and now i'm taking a business-related course in poly. what do u get in 4E? what makes us so special, what makes this class meaningful to me? what makes this .. "lousy piece of shit" class click??

we did shits together, we enjoyed every single bit of it, from

playing psp in class, talking back to teacher together, ''faking to sleep'' during history lessons together, allowing people to sit into our class during MISS KANG's(english) lesson, tieing weijie to a chair with masking tape and placing him outside a girls' toilet, taking recess-breaks' during chinese lesson with teacher's approval, xfering ''colours of the wind'' in class, vandalising the board behind, trapping phelan in a cleaner's room, kick starting all the trends example ''laughing at zao-xia'' .. pushing one another into year1 classes and locking the backdoor, forcing the person to exit from the front, to calling people by their fathers' name. forcing people to smell 3-months overdued curry. making a teacher quit on us.. HAHA.

many look down on our class, branding us as a helpless bunch, never gon make it, but we did. and so proud are we to tell others that we enjoyed our 2years, and the fun we had..

my freshie poly class, 1b04, ahh. not afraid to admit, i didn't kinda like them in the start. they stayed so near, yet they would just head home after school. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THEM? was i thinking .. as time goes by, everyone start to open up, start to be a bit more steady.. i'm lucky .. as compared to other classes, we've that togetherness which some other classes are lacking ..

i'm lucky .. and everyday i give thanks to whomever that's up there, behind all this, i say thank you for everything i've, whatever stuffs i've been through, and any obstacles being placed ahead in my life, whatever mudholes in my path which will bring me to my knees .. i say thank you ..
